Wayne Erwin Price was born on October 29, 1931 passed away on January 18, 2011 in his son, Joseph's home in Claremont, New Hampshire, where he had been residing.

Wayne grew up in the Elkhart, Indiana area, served in the U.S Army and resided in the Baltimore, Maryland and Chicago, Illinois area before moving to Ontonagon with his wife, Mary and their children in 1963. Wayne was hired by the First National Bank in 1963 and retired as Vice President of the bank in 1993.

While living in Ontonagon, Wayne was a long time member of the Ontonagon Jaycees, Ontonagon Volunteer Fire Department, the Ontonagon Chapter of the American Red Cross and White Pine American Legion Post 462. He was also the founder and proprietor of Ontonagon Accounting & Tax for many years.

Cremation of the deceased will take place in New Hampshire, with a memorial service at Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon on Saturday, January 29 at 5:00 pm. Immediately following the memorial service, a celebration of Wayne's life will be held at the Ontonagon VFW.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Ontonagon County Cancer Association, in memory of Mary Ann Price, at P.O. Box 282, Ontonagon, MI 49953.
