Bill Kleffman passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 2nd following an almost 5 year battle with Colon Cancer. He died in his home with all of his immediate family present, as were his wishes.

Bill was born in Erie, Pa. to Ellen Pertler and the late Bob Kleffman in 1950.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Hilda, sons Dale & Leigh, grandson Dylan, mother Ellen, siblings John, Pat, & Sally, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Penn State University in 1972 and worked in the plastics industry for nearly 25 years, both owning his own business and working for other successful firms. In 1995 he relocated with his family to Trout Creek and started his own mortgage brokerage business. He ran that successfully for 10 years before retiring in 2005. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching Penn St play football on fall Saturdays, golfing, and investing.

Per his wishes there will not be a public service and cremation will take place. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
