Anthony Joseph "Tony" Domitrovich passed away on February 16th, 2022, at his winter home in Tucson Arizona. He was 82 years old.
Tony was born on September 18th, 1939, in Ontonagon Michigan, and graduated from Ontonagon High School in 1957. In 1959, he married Barbara Lee Goulet, and went on to have four daughters.
Tony was a founder of the Norwich Country Club located in Ontonagon Michigan. He was also an Ontonagon Township Supervisor, and he was on the Ontonagon County Board of Commissioners. Tony was a member of the Downtown Development Authority, he was a very active member of the Rotary Club and the exchange student program, and he was one of the founders of the Frost Junction Ponderosa club.
Tony is survived by his wife, Barbara, and two daughters, Andrea Lynn Von Seggern and Antoinette Lee "Tona" Basile, and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley and George, and one sister, Dorothy Condon, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death by two daughters, Dana (Brookins) Domitrovich and Ann Rene "Anna" Domitrovich Gravely; three brothers, Frank, Carl and Martin, and two sisters, Helen Hoefferle and Mary Lou Domitrovich.
Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Ontonagon Michigan. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., and a luncheon will be served at the church immediately following. Burial will then proceed at the Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery.
In lieu of monetary gifts, the family would like donations made to the Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts, 311 N Steel, Ontonagon, MI 49953. Dana was a founder, and Tony was always very proud of her. Tony will also be joining the Holy Family Catholic Church Family Tree sculpture.
