Charlotte Joan Johnson, 80, of Bruce Crossing, MI passed away unexpectedly on March 18.
Charlotte was born in Wakefield, MI daughter of Harvey and Bertha Elliott. She graduated from Wakefield High School. She married Edward Johnson and they made their home in Bruce Crossing their entire married lives of 54 years. Charlotte worked at Bruce Crossing Settlers Credit Union until she moved to Big Valley Ford, where she worked for over 30 years as a bookkeeper. Charlotte enjoyed bowling in her early years, crocheting, and especially camping with her extended families.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Sheri (Mark) Gondek of Luther, MI, brothers Rex (Mary Ann) Elliott of Marquette, MI, and William (Linda) Elliottof Ishpeming, MI, granddaughter Kacee (Bill) Gondek of Luther, MI, great-grandson Blake along with several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, her parents, sister Patricia Pikka, sister-in-law Cynthia Elliot, and brother-in-law Kenneth Pikka.
Funeral Services for Charlotte will be Friday March 31 at Cane Funeral Home Bruce Crossing. The Visitation is at 10:00 am. Service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be on a future date. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the many special neighbors, friends, and all those who helped her.
