Denise R. Davidson

With heavy hearts, we would like to announce that Denise Rene’e Davidson, age 58, of Ontonagon, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023, at the Omega House in Houghton, Michigan.

Denise was born to Geraldine Ellen and Billie James Buzzo, on September 19th, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They soon returned to Ontonagon, where she grew up and spent most of her life.

At the young age of sixteen, Denise met the love of her life, Kevin James Davidson. They were united in marriage on July 23rd, 1983. Together, they raised their own family of three sons and one daughter, who were her pride and joy.

She was a kind soul who had many roles throughout her life. More than just a wife and mother, she was also a caregiver, a school bus driver, and worked in classrooms with many students throughout the years at the Ontonagon Area Schools. She liked to spend her days with her family, walking outside, gardening, and going to the beach.

Denise is survived by her husband, Kevin, and their four children, Kevin Jr, Tyler, Taylor, and Hannah Davidson. Her mother, Geraldine Wilson, siblings John (Colleen) Buzzo, Deanne Hill, and Billie Buzzo. Her aunts, Sue McKay, Bertie LaDuke, and Jennifer Bishop. Her uncles Tommy Buzzo, and Patrick LaDuke. With many cousins, nieces, and nephews. And last but not least, her grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billie Buzzo, brother George Buzzo, and grandparents, Albert and Myrtle Buzzo, and Aloysius and Elizabeth LaDuke. Along with many aunts and uncles, cousin Beverly Bobo, and nephew Finley Padden.

Denise's celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at 3:00-6:00 PM
