Duane Allen Broemer, 57, of Bay City, gained his angel wings on Dec. 23, 2021 with his family and friends by his side.
Duane was born in Ontonagon, May 30,1964 to Jack & Lorraine (Wiedbrauk) Broemer. He attended Ontonagon High School graduating in 1982.
Duane will be long remembered for his help with all of our many home projects and gardening, sharing his talent and knowledge. He loved the outdoors enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his brothers, Paris (Sondra), Robin (Nancy Boyd), Brian (Stephanie) and sister Terri (James) Laingren.
He is, also, survived by nieces and nephews Coty Broemer, Chelsea Nicholas, Tony Broemer, Kalie Harper, Stacy Laingren, James Laingren II, Nichole Broemer and Danielle Villanueva, many great nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. His extended family in Arizona was important to him, special grand babies, Kolton & Karter Maxson, Avery & Aria King. Duane had many close friends and his best friend of 9 years, his dog Buddy.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Lorraine Broemer.
A celebration of life will take place on May 28, 2022 at the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Ontonagon at 1pm. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Shelter at the Ontonagon Park.
A very special thank you goes out to Dean & Pam Kohn for taking Duane into their home and giving him special care, along with Hospice.
