Eva Tallman

Eva Tallman, 80 of Ontonagon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on August 13 in Marquette.

Eva was born in Utica Michigan on January 24, 1941 to Mayme and Sheridan Norman. She pursued a career in Cosmetology and owned and operated her own salon until her retirement.

She married Donald Tallman in 1991 and they enjoyed their life together in their home near the beach in Ontonagon, spending many years fishing on Lake Superior. Eva enjoyed spending time with her family, socializing with friends, and was a friend to all who knew her. She was a great mother to her children and heck of a good cook.

Eva is survived by her children, Heidi Wettberg, Barry Cole and Tracy, Holly Cole and Chad, Eva and Keith Penegor, Erik Hill and Mandy, her brother and sister-in-law Sheridan and Jan Norman, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, son Garth, step son Roy, brother Charles Norman, and her parents.

A private service was held by her family.

Cane Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
