Lillian D.(Miilu) Myhren, 83, of Ontonagon, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital. Lillian was born in Mass City, July 25th, 1938 to Michael and Irene (Nichols) Miilu. She grew up in Mass City, where she graduated from high school there in 1956. She then married Gerald Myhren on November 27, 1956. She had spent nearly 60 years living in Green, where she raised her family. She earned a degree of high honors in being a mother to her children. She loved to play games (Yahtzee being a favorite!!) She was happy just being with family.
She is survived by sons; Richard (Virginia) Myhren, and Jeff Myhren; daughters; Patricia Deneau, Sherri Wilson, Caroline Tallman, JoyAnne Myhren , Lori (John) LeDuc and Melissa (Greg) Betcher; sister Myrt (Rick) Johnson; brothers Donald (Carol) Miilu, Eino Miilu and Howard (Judy) Miilu; 31 grandchildren, 52 great grand children and 1 great great grand child.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Johnny, husband Gerald Myhren, sisters Helen, Dorothy, June and Ann; brothers Norman, Roy, Carl and Ray.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 6th with visitation from 11:00 - 12:00pm and the funeral service at 12:00pm at Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon, followed by the burial at the Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are William Wheelock, Tommy Solberg, Erik Betcher, Branden Betcher, Jerry Myhren and Bailey Wheelock.
The family of Lillian wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of the staff, doctors, nurses and Becky at Aspirus Hospital. For all the support and care, and allowing us to be there through this time, next to her.
