It is with heavy hearts and yet rejoicing hearts that we say goodbye to our loving mother/ grandmother and great grandmother as she leaves us to join her loving husband, Clarence LeRoy Penegor and Jesus Christ her beloved Savior and many others who have gone on before.

Marian was born on July 31 1926 in Jersey Shores PA and as a child has moved with her family 13 times before settling in Rockland, MI. She married the love of her life, Clarence LeRoy Penegor on June 16 1951. They raised their 6 children in Greenland MI.

They moved to Sun Prairie Wisconsin in September of 1996 from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and resided close to their daughter Ella and her husband Steve Cleary. Marian spent the last year and a half living with Steve and Ella who provided great care.

Marian is survived by all her children, Bernice Penegor/Russell French, Vickie Penegor/Augie Tahtinen, Keith/Eva Cole Penegor, Calvin Penegor, Sarah Penegor/Don Garden, and Ella Penegor/Steve Cleary. She also is survived by one sister, Ann Roberts/Richard Guild, two sisters-in-law, Ruby and Linda and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence LeRoy of 62 years, her father Thomas Roberts, mother Helena Seid Roberts, siblings Leonard Roberts, (twins)Earl,Carl Roberts, Raymond Roberts, Ernest Roberts, Edwin Roberts, Maureen Penegor, Susan Cash and great grandson Gabriel Donovan Braun.

We will all miss her with us, but are happy she is with her Lord and Savior.

Marian's service is planned for June 16, 2022 at 1 pm at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon, MI. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the start of the service. The burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Rockland, MI. A luncheon will take place following the burial, at the Ontonagon Baptist Church at 615 Greenland Rd., Ontonagon.

The Cane Funeral Home will assist family.

The family of Marian Penegor would like to thank all that contributed in any way to the funeral service burial and luncheon in her honor. A special thanks to those who attended and gave cards and gifts, Russell French for officiating, Cane Funeral Home, Nature's Rich Flowers and Gifts and Ontonagon Baptist Church. It was lovely.
