Patricia C. Kosey

                Patricia C. Kosey, age 75 of Ontonagon, MI passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. Patricia, who was known as Tish, was born on January 29, 1945 in Laurium, MI to Herman and Caroline (Hicks) White.  She married Ron R. Kosey on July 23, 1962. 

                Tish worked many years in the offices of several Ontonagon physicians.  Tish was also an avid sports fan.  She loved cheering on her beloved sons and grandkids.  She loved bowling, but her true passion was golf.  Tish was a member of the Ontonagon Golf Club and past president of the Ontonagon women’s golf league. You could always find Tish on the course every Thursday during the season having fun.  Tish was a member of Siloa Lutheran Church.  Tish had many wonderful friends that she cherished deeply. 

                Tish was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family.  She was blessed with three loving sons and daughter-in-laws, four wonderful grandchildren, and two sweet great granddaughters. She was also blessed with three lively grand dogs, which she loved dearly.

She is survived by her sons; Richard (Trish) of St. Michael, MN, Ray (Kris) of Superior, WI, and Rob (Lori) of Shakopee, MN. Four grandchildren; Taylor (Alex) Brown, Raya (Dan) Horst, Michael Kosey, and Rebecca Kosey. Two great grandchildren; Harley McMurtry and Bowyn Horst. Her brother, Wayne White, and various nieces and nephews, including special niece Sandra Bressler.

                She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, her parents, Herman and Caroline, stepmother Elizabeth (Betty), brothers William (Donna) White and Donnie White. Also by a few special grand dogs.

                Tish loved going and watching a great performance at the Ontonagon Theater of the Performing Arts. At the request of the deceased, any memorials in Patricia’s memory be made to The Ontonagon Theater (PO Box 73 Ontonagon, MI 49953) for the elevator fund.

                A celebration of life scheduled for Saturday, May 22nd from 4pm - 7pm at the Ontonagon Golf Club.
