Patrick met the love of his life Ella Mae (Cox) on a double date coordinated by Al and Charolette Wells. On January 23, 1960 they were united in marriage, and remained married for nearly 59 years. Together they raised four children and gave them all a charmed childhood that he can be very proud of Jane (Steve), Penny (Ron), Dan, Peter (Connie) all survive him. He’s also been the most amazing grandpa to his grandchildren, April (Cory), Shannon, Dustin (Meaghan), Ella (Jason), Coty (Marianna), Dillan (Nikki) and Allison. He also has wonderful great grandchildren Hunter, Bryce, Reagan, Rylee and Alaynah they were very dear to him.
Patrick was known as the “Space Age Pipefitter.” He worked at the paper mill as a pipefitter for 44 years. He was a very proud union member and he never missed a union meeting.
His hobbies were attending auctions, steam shows, canoeing, and spending time with his family. Patrick had one creative mind for tinkering and making things such as a satellite dish, railroad car, various cars, swings, christmas trees, and windmills, all very unique.
Remembering you is easy, we do it everyday, but missing you is a heartache that will never go away. We hold you tightly in our heart where you remain, life will go on without you, and never be the same.
At the request of Patrick, the family will be having their own private memorial service
