Obituary

Richard Michael Wascher "Dick" of Greenland, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023. He died peacefully at home with family by his side.

"Dick" was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Lester and Agnes Wascher on November 4th, 1949. He married April J Wascher (Fleming) for the first time... in June of 1972. They were married for 13 years, divorced for 16 years then remarried on June 15th, 2001.

He was an independent over the road truck driver, and also worked for Novak Trucking. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening with his "Gardenettes" (Kathy, Kelly, and Jane), woodworking out in his "Hickory Dickory" shed, and spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and would make everyone laugh whenever he could.

Dick is survived by his wife April Wascher, Son Richard (Kim) Wascher, Daughters Hope (Ed) Hall, Joni (Mark) Andreski, Toni (Ryan) Villwock, Katrina (David) Knath, Brother Jerry "Jammer" Wascher, Grandchildren Kristopher, Jason, Erik, - Ethan, Landon, Isaiah, Maggie, and Liza. he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, his loyal companion Lucky, great friends and his wonderful neighbors.

Dick is preceded in death by his son Michael Roy Wascher, his parents and grandparents.

Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family. At Dick's request there will be no funeral services, but there will be a celebration of life planned by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Cane Funeral Home to help with his final expenses.
