Ronald (Pete) Elmer-Felix Pestka, of Ontonagon, passed away on October 18th of 2020 in Ontonagon Michigan.
Pete was born on June 29, 1964, in Ontonagon Michigan to Ronald Pestka and Violet (Marks) Pestka . He went to school and graduated from Ontonagon Area High School in 1982.
Pete worked as a logger at Pestka Trucking. He was an avid hunter and having the need for speed, was a former stock car racer in Greenland and surrounding areas. Pete was a great father, brother, son and grandfather who loved and cared greatly for family and friends.
Pete is survived by his daughter Stephaine Pestka, his sisters Missy (Pestka) Sharrow & Julie (Pestka) Danielson, his brother Craig Pestka, his grandchildren Zoey Pestka & Damon Pestka along with Denver Sharrow, Hennisy Pestka, Nixon Overton, Mark Overton, Dustin Stish and Kris Stish
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Violet, his son Robert (Bobby) Pestka, along with his niece Carley Pestka and many other loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be rescheduled to a later date due to Corona Virus restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for funeral expenses.
Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
