Stanley Voldarski Obituary

Stanley John Voldarski, 75, of Ontonagon passed away Dec. 7, 2021 after a lengthy stay at U.P. Health in Marquette.

Stanley was born in Hancock, MI to Charles and Eleanor (Makela)Voldarski. He graduated in 1964 from the Hancock High School and then entered the army until 1967 where he served in Germany. After an honorable discharge from the service he became employed at the White Pine Mine and remained there until it closed. Stanley was then employed at the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga until his retirement. 

Stanley married Diana Daniels September 6, 1975. He is survived his wife Diana, children Charles of Ontonagon, Christopher (Stevie) of Elizabethtown, KY, Joey (Pamela) of L'Anse, MI, brothers Martin (Guy) and Roger, sister Charolotte, grandchildren Ariel, Aurora, Olivia, Kayden, Kara, Jaiden and his loving puppy Milo.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Charles and Richard. 

The 4th floor cardiac staff at UP Health said they felt like Stan was their grandpa, which was heartwarming to the family.  Stan's family appreciated the kind and loving care that he received and will be forever thankful.

There will be a memorial luncheon on Dec. 19, 2021 at the Ontonagon VFW from 12-3 pm. A ceremony with the folding of the flag will be held at 1:00 p.m.
