Tiffany Lynn LaBine

Tiffany Lukkari LaBine, formerly of Mass City, MI passed away peacefully at her home in Powell, OH, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Her husband and children were at her side, Tiffany was born September 15, 1970 in Ironwood, MI and was adopted into the loving home of Kay and Robert Lukkari, where she joined a sister and two brothers.

Tiffany was raised in Mass City where she learned her love of the outdoors. She attended and graduated from the Ontonagon Area School with the class of 1988. She then went on to attend Northern Michigan University where she re-connected with Jim LaBine whom she later married at the Ontonagon Methodist Church on August 21, 1993. Tiff and Jim later moved to Columbus (Powell), OH where they raised their two children. While raising their children and working full time Tiffany acquired her Bachelors in Forensic Accounting and then went on to achieve her Masters Degree in Accounting from Franklin University. She worked as the accounting Manager at Asymmetric Technologies in Columbus.

Tiffany loved to quilt while relaxing at home; she vacationed every Christmas in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. And her “Happy Place” was camping at Ontonagon Township Park on the shores of Lake Superior where she would listen to the waves and watch the water sparkle before sunset. She also loved to downhill ski and to hike with her dog Tucker.

Tiffany cherished her lifelong friends whom she referred to as “her girls” and loved to tell the stories of their times together. Tiffany had an unyielding devotion to her family, friends and the Green Bay Packers. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Tiffany is survived by her husband Jim of Powell, OH, her Son, Nate LaBine and Daughter, Elyssa LaBine. Mother, Kay Lukkari of Mass City. Sister Michelle (Paul) Lukkarila of Sacramento, CA. Brothers Todd (Janice) Lukkari of Mass City, MI and Shawn (Vonda) Lukkari of Mass City. Numerous Nieces and Nephews who she adored.

Tiffany was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lukkari.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Mass City Community Center in Mass City, MI at 11:00 am. With David Blake officiating. Friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the start of Tiffany's service at the Mass City Community Center. Internment will directly follow the service at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland, MI. A luncheon will follow at the Mass City Community Center. A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 9 at 6:00pm at the VFW post 5600 in Ontonagon.
