Dear Joe and family,
I know this message is late, but I only recently saw Ann's obituary. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time. Please take comfort in knowing that Ann is now in the loving presence of God. While reading the obituary, I saw that Bob passed away this past Spring. We again, were so sad to hear the news. Your family has had enough sadness this year. Hopefully, you can find peace during these rough times

So very to hear of Ann's passing. Always enjoyed seeing her at St. Mary's in the summer. Ann and I went to catechism together every summer. She was a special person. RIP my friend.

Anna (we knew her as Ann) entered our lives through the marriage of her grandson, Nick to our daughter, Dana. Long before we had the privelege of making her acquaintance in person, we got to know her in bits and pieces through the anecdotes, stories and memories shared by both Nick and Dana. Some people you meet and like at once. Some you need to warm up to over time and some rare few, you feel the warmth and fondness well before the real meeting happens.
Meeting Ann was one of those fond, warm experiences that only grew warmer in her presence when we finally did connect in person. She was every bit as warm and tender and friendly and sweetly special as we'd come to believe she would be. If that weren't enough, she was also funny, crafty, clever and curious in an almost childlike way -- especially when it came to computers and the ways they test us.
Some flames are delicate and weak and vanish at the merest breath. Not Ann .. her light and warmth are still aglow by virtue of all those she touched, whether directly or through her reflection in the faces and voices and hearts of those who carry her still. We're blessed to have known her and continue to be so by knowing and loving those she gave that warmth and light to so they could share it with us.
Godspeed, Ann

So sorry for your loss.
