The hardest thing I ever had to do is say good-bye to you. I miss you so much. I love you with all my heart and I will never stop loving you. Willy misses you too. So sorry to hear about Gordie, he will surely be missed. His suffering is over now and may he rest in peace. He had a smile for everyone and never a bad word about anyone. Not many guys left in this world like him. Our sympathy to you.

Linda and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, husband and father. Gordy was a very special man. He was the one that kept me coming around to the Legion. He was so kind and friendly. Had many conversations with him and always felt good about myself when I left because that is what he could do for a person. Gordy always made me feel so welcome and part of something when I would walk in the Legion. Such a special man. Gordy got me to sign up to be a member. He could talk you into doing anything. He was the heart of the American Legion in White Pine. There will never be anyone to take his place. No one will ever beable to fill his shoes. He was one in a million. RIP Gordy it was an honor to be called your friend. Linda and family you have my deepest condolences. The whole community is going to feel his loss. Hold on to the memories Linda and family. Listen to everyone that has a story to tell about him you will learn so much more about him then you already know. I never heard him ever talk bad about anyone. People could have learned things from this man on how to treat people because I know how he made me feel just knowing him for the short time that I knew him. Love you Linda and Prayers are on there way for you and your family.

To the entire Thoreson family, I worked with Gordy at the copper refinery, always loved when he came in before meetings, we had many good talks, and laughs for that matter, and yes, his beef jerky was AMAZING!! He will be very much missed by many. May all the memories you had over the years make your healing process that much easier. RIP Gordy
