James R Norczyk

James R. Norczyk passed away August  25, 2016 in Ontonagon Michigan. 
He was born May 25, 1932 in Ontonagon to Irene and Steven Norczyk. James graduated from Ontonagon high school in 1950. He then joined the Air Force in January 1951, serving in Korea from June 1951 to May 1952. He was discharged  in December 1954. 
James was employed at the white pine Coppermine from January 1955 until his retirement in May 1993. During these years he worked in the warehouse, assay lab and smelter for a total of 38 years credited. 
In November 1955 he was united in marriage to Bertha Store. Together they had two sons Timothy and Tony, two granddaughters Stephanie and Shana, three great-grandchildren Nicklas Natalie and Shayenne. He is also survived by one sister Janet.
James was preceded in death by his parents and one of his sons Tony. 
A memorial service is planned and will be announced at a later date.
The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
