Sensei Joe was a kind and patient instructor and friend. His numerous contributions to Kimura Shukokai has helped to create a legacy of fine martial artists, instructors, world class competitors and champions in northern Michigan. I am forever greatful for his dedication to instructing me and the countless others he influenced in so many positive ways.
