Susanne joined with me to set up and operate the pharmacy in the new medical department building in 1980. Her organizational skills made it all work. I think of her often and those wonderful days when we worked so closely together.

Susanne and I were colleagues at MIT. I was the AO in History. I always enjoyed her warm smile, and her truly caring about other people. We had some wonderful talks, not business related which is always refreshing. I thought it was wonderful that she was able to retire when she did. She loved to talk about her 'cottage' and her garden - -which was her passion. My thoughts and prayers to her family. With sympathy. -- Dianne Brooks.

Susanne was one of the most grace-filled people I've ever known. She was so emotionally astute, I often wondered how she could be so, while the rest of us just lived around her. In her sickness, she was a force that beamed so much light into my life. May her family grieve only the loss of her and live knowing that she was of the highest caliber of human beings!

I had the opportunity to meet Susanne only one time. But I can say that all the wonderful things I had heard certainly did shine through. I'm sure her gardens in Heaven will be beautiful.
