Marvin Eino Linna, 71, of Mass City, Mich., formerly of Sea Level, NC passed away Friday, June 5, 2015, at his home.
His service and family gathering will take place at a later date.
Mr. Linna grew up in Ontonagon, Mich., and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1962 and was stationed at Marine Corp Air Station Cherry Point. He was married to his wife G. Kaye Linna for 49 years and had three children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He worked and retired from Open Grounds Farm after 28 years.
He is survived by his wife, G. Kaye Linna of Mass City, Mich.; a daughter, Michelle Wade and husband Brian of Smyrna; sons, Jeffery Linna and wife Jennifer of Ontonagon, Mich., and Jason Linna of Mass City, Mich.; grandsons, Adam Wade and wife Hope of Williston, Nathan Wade and fiancée Kimi Lewis of Smyrna, Matthew Linna of Ontonagon, Mich., and Tyler Linna of LaCrosse, Wis.; granddaughters, Meghan Wade of Smyrna and Erica Linna of Wilmington; great-grandsons, Tanner Wade of Williston and Colter Wade of Smyrna; a sister, Patricia Luoto of Ontonagon, Mich.; a brother, Jim Linna of Ontonagon, Mich.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Linna was preceded in death by his parents, Eino and Helen Linna of Ontonagon, Mich.; and a grandson, Jeffery Marvin Linna Jr. of Beaufort.
